What is a coffee machine? 10 common errors in coffee machine and how to fix them

When using a coffee machine, you cannot avoid problems with the operation of the machine, affecting the condition of the shop, and the taste of coffee is not good. Let us share with you ten common errors in coffee machines and how to fix them through the following article!

1. What is a coffee machine? Structure and working principle of coffee machine

A coffee machine is a specialized device for automatic coffee makers. Coffee machine was born to meet the trend of using standard and fast coffee right at home or office or workplace. Some popular types of coffee machines on the market today: automatic coffee machines, professional coffee machines, capsule coffee machines, drip coffee machines,…

2. Ten common errors in coffee machine

2.1 Coffee flows too fast.

Reason:

  • Compress the coffee too loosely.
  • You put too little coffee in the machine.
  • Poor quality mixer.

How to fix:

  • Sufficient pressure.
  • Give lots of coffee.
  • Replace with a better quality coffee machine.
2.2 Coffee drips flow slowly.

Reason:

  • Smooth coffee.
  • There is no water supply for the coffee machine.
  • Compress the coffee too hard or take more coffee than usual.
  • Humidified air causes the coffee powder to thicken and the coffee to flow slowly.
  • The solenoid valve at the throat position is broken.

How to fix:

  • Adjust blender to coarser flour.
  • Check the water tank or water supply shut-off valve.
  • Get technical support.

2.3 The throat makes coffee with little or no water

Reason:

  • Coffee contains a lot of essential oils, so they will completely cover the surface of the water divider and seal the drain hole.
  • The effect of water for making coffee, if the water is not filtered carefully, moss and impurities will be sucked into the water divider valve at the brewing throat.
  • Long-term use, but without filtering the Calcium, it will accumulate, causing blockage and sealing of water pipes.
  • The booster pump is damaged.
  • The solenoid valve is damaged because it cannot open and close the water divider valve at the phase throat.

How to fix:

  • Regularly clean the throat mixed daily with pure powder; inside, you need to remove the water divider and clean it at least every five days.
  • Install DVA and RO water purifiers to ensure that the water source is purified of impurities and removes Calcium.
  • Check relevant electrical equipment regularly to detect faults early.
2.4 Low outlet water temperature does not guarantee the temperature

Reason:

  • The steam pressure inside the boiler has not reached the standard level (below 0.8 bar), so the temperature is below 90 degrees Celsius.
  • The water distribution solenoid valve at the pharynx is blocked, distributing the boiling water unevenly.
  • The temperature controller is damaged.

How to fix:

  • To ensure that the internal temperature is balanced and stable to the surface of the boiling water, you should regularly adjust and check the steam pressure to the standard level from 1-1.2 bar.
  • Regularly clean the valve to ensure the correct water flow.
2.5 The faucet does not produce steam or comes out weak

Reason:

  • Users do not regularly clean the faucet because the milk is thick and will be glued, glued together, and clog the steam outlet.
  • The steam release valve is broken and cannot open at the maximum capacity.
  • The heating rod error leads to the machine’s slow pressure compensation and insufficient pressure during the milking process.

How to fix:

  • Regularly check the steam outlet of the milking nozzle, clean the nozzle with a needle or use 1 cup of water to flush the milking nozzle for 30 seconds to clean the remaining milk residue inside.
  • After use, you should take a breather for 2 seconds to drain the milk remaining in the faucet and use a clean towel.
  • If the faucet is still weak, you should check the burner and steam valve to see if there is a problem.

2.6 Water leaks out of hands making coffee

Reason:

  • Rubber gaskets (gaskets) at the pharynx position will be heated, causing hardening and loss of elasticity when you use them for a long time.
  • Residue, unhygienic coffee remains on the gasket surface.
  • Tear the rubber gasket.

How to fix:

  • Replace the new rubber gasket after one year to ensure the machine will continuously operate smoothly.
  • Regularly clean the machine to ensure that coffee residue does not stick to the gasket surface.
  • Maintain and maintain the machine every six months to detect errors promptly and repair them properly.
2.7 Boiling water is not hot or slow heating

Reason:

  • The power used is weak or unstable.
  • Burned resistor because each resistor will have three pairs of resistors in the phase machine. If 1 of 3 pairs of resistors is burned, the time to boil water will be longer.
  • The damaged pressure relay is responsible for opening and closing the power supply contact for the bar.

How to fix:

  • Use a quality voltage stabilizer to keep the power supply stable.
  • Contact a mechanic to see if the pressure relay is damaged.
2.8 Turn on the machine does not power on

Reason:

  • Long-term use, long-term contact is damaged and poor contact.
  • The power supply is shorted or damaged.
  • Rats and cockroaches bite the power cord, affecting the machine’s power supply.
  • Overload operation leads to switch burnout.

How to fix:

  • Avoid leaving the device in a humid place or contact with water. Please keep the machine in a cool, dry place.
  • Regularly check and maintain the machine periodically.

2.9 Pump has noise

Reason:

  • There is no water supply for the coffee machine.
  • The pump is damaged.

How to fix:

  • Check the water source to make sure there is water in the machine.
  • Replace the pump with a new one for better performance.
2.10 The whole light is flashing; no coffee after turning on the machine

Reason:

  • Someone locked the water supply valve.
  • The water line to the coffee machine was bent at some point.

How to fix:

  • Check the water supply to the coffee machine.
  • Thanks to the support of the coffee machine repair technical department.
